POTATO PARTY FO DAYZ.

The best times as a missionary are when the unexpected things happen just randomly and out of nowhere and you better believe is happened to us this week. So we were walking down the street from trying to contact on of our investigators that we were trying to see and then a black man comes up to us and raps on the spot for a solid 15 minutes about the gospel. It was honestly super good and after he left, we have not seen him since and nobody knows who he is or where he lives. It was a good day after being spiritually fed by gospel rap.

This week flew by and are still working with our investigator family. We had a couple lessons with the dad this past week and taught the plan of salvation but his two daughters haven't been there. The dad did tell us that it okay to go ahead and get the girls baptized before he does since he had some problems come up and so the girls are preparing to be baptized on may 6th.

We were able to go through the temple twice on saturday and it was amazing. Th spirit is so strong and the peace is felt throughout the whole tour. That's about for this week, thanks for all the support and love you send this way!

BAP CITY

Well Brooke got baptized and it was awesome! It even snowed like and hour before the baptism started but that didn't stop her from coming. The ward that she's in continues to just take her under their wing and is making her feel welcome. We talked with the bishop last night and we are going to get a couple in the ward to start teaching her the new member lessons and then eventually get her a calling in the ward. We were able to go the the family history center this past week with her and she was able to start her family history work. She wasn't able to get names to take to the temple yet because at the time, she wasn't a member but also because the rexburg temple is closed for two weeks for cleaning. A couple members are taking her on the 29th of April though so its all good there.

We had a lesson with some new investigators that we found the week before transfers and they are golden and again, we found them through members. They just moved here from arizona and have been living here in some apartments for a couple months now and the way we found them is way confusing so i'll save you the details, hahaha. So long story short is that they accepted being baptized on 29th of this month. It's a father and two daughters and the members that are fellow shipping them are great. The member that is fellow shipping them got tickets for them and us to go through the temple open house come friday, it's and gonna be awesome.

So that's about it for this week, it snowed twice this week, nothing too big but now the weather should be good for a couple weeks. Please continue to keep Brooke and the Shcafer family in your prayers! The church is true and god lives! Y'all have a good week!

General Conference Weekend

Hey everyone, hope y'all had a good week and were able to at least watch/listen to general conference this past week. A lot of good and inspiring messages were shared! This work here in this stake is continuing to move forward. We have one of our investigators that we are working with is ready to be baptized this coming weekend and she couldn't be more solid. We are going to one of the family history center's here in town on wednesday and she is going to find family names for her to take to the temple the following week after her baptism and she is stoked for that too.

We had transfers this past week and I got another companion. His name is Elder Ross and he is from Murray, Utah and has been out six months. We got a car and its good be be crusin' around the city in our chevy cruz, hahah. We had lesson with a family of four who are all non members and expressed that they want to be baptized and so we are having a lesson with them this week and hope for the best.

We also have lesson this week with someone over skype/facetime who lived in north dakota and we are super hyped for that. We'll keep you posted. That's about is for this week, thanks for all you do and for the love, support and prayers you send this way! Have a good week and don't ever forget that the church is true.
