It's
been a busy week here in the Iona South Stake. Things are starting to
pick back up again which is good for us because we are definitely
needing it. My companion and I have been contacting all of the
auxiliaries from each ward, Young Men's Presidents, High Priest Group
Leaders, Primary Presidents etc. Our Mission President promised us that
if we go and do this in each of our areas, then there would a lot of
work to do. So far its been good getting around to see everybody and we
have gotten a lot of names to go and see. We also had interviews with
our Mission President and the one thing he asked was if we were happy or
not. He wants the best for his missionaries and is going to help us
anyway he can.
We
literally spent the whole week with our Zone Leaders; Elder Galang
& Elder Allred, and they are super funny, especially Elder Galang,
he's convinced that we are going to room together when we got you to
school at BYU-Idhao. We did service with them on Friday and helped them
'buck hay'. It was actually a lot of fun loading the hay into the
trucks. That night we had the zone leaders car keys and phone went
looking for them for a couple hours. As we were driving in for the
night, we turned onto a side street and there they were, sitting on the
curb, waiting for someone to pick them up. Glad we found them. Anyways,
we had so many tender mercies this wee, every single day to be exact.
The people of Idaho Falls are amazing. They are good to us missionaries
and I'm glad to be serving here.
