This week was super good. We had a lot of appts. the regular people who we see every week but it's still good to help them progress towards the blessing of the gospel. We have set lessons with a couple people that we go see once a week and its amazing the change that you can see from their willingness to learn more about the Savior.
We had an all day mission conference yesterday and Elder Brent H. Neislon, head of the Missionary Department was there and also Elder Joaquin E. Costa a new General Authority that was called back in April. They and their wives all gave good messages and all bore powerful testimonies. Something that really stuck out to me that one of them shared from Elder Jeffery R. Holland was this: I am convinced that missionary work is not easy because salvation is not a cheap experience. Salvation never was easy. We are The Church of Jesus Christ, this is the truth, and He is our Great Eternal Head. How could we believe it would be easy for us when it was never, ever easy for Him? It seems to me that missionaries and mission leaders have to spend at least a few moments in Gethsemane. Missionaries and mission leaders have to take at least a step or two toward the summit of Calvary. He was addressing missionaries at the MTC but I think we can all apply it to out own individual lives.
That's about it for this email! Hope you all have a good week! God is Good!
