Hey everyone, this week was another slow one but we managed to get some things done. We set up a lot of appointments though in one of the wards with some less active members. We did some service with our Zone Leaders in the Lincoln Stake for a single gentleman and we had to scrape old paint off his house and start putting new paint on. We also had to help a lady in one of the wards with her basement. It ended up flooding a couple days before we helped. We had to rip up carpet out of some of the rooms and had to move a lot of her food storage that was effected by the flood.
Yesterday we gave talks in the 9th ward about missionary work, of course. My companion did an awesome job and told the ward how to do missionary work, why we do it, who to share it with, etc. I think it got the ward fired up. Our mission president came out with us last night to a mission prep class to our ward mission leader house and it was good to have the young men and young women be there asking him questions about a mission. I think everyone enjoyed it. We correlated with the ward mission leader in the 6th ward and before he took us home, we went to go chase some fires that are going on up on the hill. He was a firefighter a couple years ago, so he was telling us the firefighter lingo. It was fun and didn't get back home til' really late last night. We had transfer calls yesterday and my companion and I are both staying in the area. On a good note though, my previous companion, Elder Teokotai is going to be the next assistant to the president come Wednesday. He's gonna kill it out there.
That is all for this week! Thanks for all you do! God is Good!

A member took us out to this really good restaurant and the burgers were huge!
Again, it looked cooler in person.
